Activate the Wheatbelt is extremely excited to announce our return to Gabbin for our SEVENTH consecutive year and our biggest year yet!
Swing for the Trees
You won’t want to miss this high energy evening of musical mischief and non-stop dance vibes!
Formidable Vegetable, The Witchy Djypsies, The Liquid Project and OKTO together for one huge night of inspiring, energising and uplifting funky, swinging dance grooves.
All profits towards helping plant 150,000 trees this winter.
Awakening the party vibes are The Liquid Project, a ten-piece band that mixes Funk, Disco and Rock with social consciousness.
Next up The Witchy Djypsies, legends of Fremantle and WA’s South West, will set the dancefloor on fire with their radical blend of Gypsy-Jazz, Ska, Punk and World Fusion.
Formidable Vegetable, champions in bringing the message of sustainable living will sow the garden of your mind in the funkiest way with electro-radish-beets, crusty-jazz-ukulele, swinging strings and hyperactive horns.
OKTO will bring it home with his unique mix of explosive basslines and funkadelic grooves from behind the decks.

Dumbleyung 2020
ACTIVATE the Wheatbelt invites you to join us in Dumbleyung for the weekend of JULY 17th to JULY 19th to help us plant 42,000 seedlings across five planting sites. This enjoyable weekend will consist of tree planting, live music and DJ's, dancing, community connection and education. This is a drug free and family friendly event open to all ages where everyone is welcome to come and help us restore biodiversity and reconnect with the bush landscape!
Gabbin 2020
Activate the Wheatbelt invites you to join us in Gabbin for the weekend of July 3rd - 5th to help us plant 25,000 seedlings. This enjoyable weekend will consist of tree planting, live music, DJs, dancing, community and education. This is a drug free and family friendly event open to all ages, where everyone is welcome to come and help out planting trees.
